TODAYS’ TECH TIP IS ON HOW TO REPLACE A BELT ON THE RAINBOW POWER NOZZLE.
TO FIND YOU MODEL, LOOK ON STICKER ON BACK OF POWER NOZZLE WHERE CORD GOES IN.
FOR MODELS PN-2 AND PN-2E
This unit has the belt in the center. What is very important is that you have the brush roll in the correct way. On the brush roll is a groove that is cut in the wood. It is only on one end and not the other. This groove needs to be on the same side as the spare belt compartment. This is very important as your Power Nozzle with seem like it is spitting the dirt out in front of the unit instead of picking it up. The Power Nozzle owners manual will give you pictures on how to do this. Please contact us for a copy. We can also help you over the phone. Place belt on brush roll first, then hook onto motor shaft and roll brush roll up into place.
FOR MODELS R4375, R2800, R1650
This unit has the belt on the end. Easiest way is to hook belt on motor shaft and then roll up over pulley. Like you would do a bicycle chain. This model must have the bottom plate attached correctly or you will experience a lack of performance. The power nozzle owners manual will show you pictures on how to do this. Please contact us for a copy. We can also help you over the phone.
VERY IMPORTANT——CHANGE YOUR BELT AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR. THIS MAKES FOR A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE.
