Mosier was recognized for her many contributions to the Northeast Indiana local community with both equally the Sagamore of the Wabash award and a specific resolution from the Indiana Standard Assembly. These recognitions came as she prepares for retirement in September.

Indiana State Reps. Martin Carbaugh, Christopher Judy, Dan Leonard, and Bob Morris represented Gov. Eric Holcomb and offered the prestigious Sagamore of the Wabash award, the highest honor bestowed by an Indiana governor, to Mosier at the July 27 campus board of trustees assembly. The award celebrates a Hoosier who is “distinguished by his Humanity in Residing, his Loyalty in Friendship, his Wisdom in Council, and his Inspiration in Management.” It has been awarded to actors, astronauts, presidents, artists, athletes and extra.

Alongside with this award, Mosier was regarded with Home Resolution No. 53, which was sponsored by Leonard, Morris, Carbaugh, Judy, and Reps. David Abbott, Philip GiaQuinta, Dave Heine, Matthew Lehman, Ben Smaltz and Craig Snow and was accepted on April 20. The resolution marks the celebration by pointing out the next accomplishments in the course of her tenure:
